My daughter is 4 and loves this car seat. It was so easy to setup and move between cars.
All in all, this is a great booster seat. My 4 year old loves it. I was really worried about putting my daughter in a booster because the seat does not fasten to the car, but once she is buckled in, the seat is very secure, and I feel that my daughter is very safe. The only things that I don't like is that it is hard to reach over and buckle the belt in because the armrest is hard to work around. Also, the cup holders are not deep enough. One sharp turn, and cups go flying. But, it is safe, durable, comfortable, and a great price, so we are happy.
I purchased this booster seat 6 months ago. Three days ago we were in a terrible automobile accident where our SUV rolled a couple of times before ending up upside-down. I have to say that this car seat, the one my 5-year-old uses, performed better than my daughters $300 car seat. I don't want to praise this product too much, because I know God was and continues to be with us. I was told that once a car seat is in an accident that it is deemed no longer safe, so I will definitely be purchasing another one just like it. I recommend this product to anyone.
Has all the major features a booster needs. Easy to set up. Easy to move from car to car
This product is about exactly what I expected. It does the basic job well, it's rugged so to speak and we haven't had any issues with it in the year or so we've owned it. The only thing I would change is the fact that it's somewhat difficult to carry just because the bottom and top hinge together and can easily come apart (Tip: If it does this lie them both flat on the floor to reconnect or you'll be at this for hours!) Other than that it's a good seat for the money you pay and my son (who is now four) was just happy to have a "big boy" seat. A great basic product.
Overall, it is functional, it looks nice, it's a booster. Wish we would of taken a closer look at it before purchasing. Would of more an likely invested more money in another one. The one thing that bothers us, is the way it comes apart, makes us question it's durability and stability in case of a collision..
The seat itself is ok but the seat cover is horrible! Any water that gets on it leaves a water mark on the silver part and it looks horrible! We took it out fron the car to the house in the rain and it looked so dirty from the water spots. I then washed it thinking it may help! Nope it made it worse and along the silver there is some stitching coming out! One thing I can say in defence is I have never gotten a product like this from Graco. The things I have gotten in the past from them have been very good. I called them and told them about my problems and they are sending me a new cover (a different one) Free of charge! They appologized and were very nice about it.
